Adam Klein – Western Tales & Trails

This is a very interesting album, a good kind of interesting, it reminds me of the old singing cowboy shows that used to come on television when my parents were young, but with a modern, and sometimes sinister, twist.
Western Tales & Trails is a mix of dark lyrics, surrounded by an upbeat tempo, and Jim White vocal styling, it all comes together pretty well, it’s a lyrical portrait of old west stories, filled with kidnapping, murder and all around violent things.
My only problem with the album is that it didn’t get my adrenaline going the way I thought it would when I was reading about the album, it’s a good album, but there is something missing for me, I would recommend the album if anyone asks me about it but it’s won’t be going onto the favorites stack.

Adam Klein - Western Tales & Trails

I respectfully disagree. I recently saw Adam Klein in concert and fell in love with his music and lyrics. I find that they touch me very deeply. I find that the blending of storytelling and music has been accomplished tenfold by Mr. Klein in his album Western Tales & Trails. Bravo!
