Not a Moose or an “Angry Russian” Could Keep the Panthers Down

But the Florida Panthers were eliminated from the playoffs anyway, that had to be a some crappy locker room news, play your hearts out and win the game in the last five minutes of the game and you’re still eliminated from playoff contention.
Tonight’s Thrashers game against the Panthers was a good game, I thought the Thrashers came out a little flat for the first two periods but still managed to establish and keep a one goal lead for most of the game, up until David Booth scored with five minutes left in the third taking the lead for the first time and take the win for the Panthers.
Zach Bogosian and Johan Hedberg were the stars of the game, Bogosian scored two goals (the only two Atlanta could get on the board), one away from the team record of goals scored by a defenseman (the record is 10, Zach has 9). And Hedberg let in three goals but he made some spectacular saves and I’m not just saying that because I’m a Thrashers fan Hedberg always pulls out all the stops when he plays.
