X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I don’t know about you but making Sabretooth Wolverine’s brother is just plain wrong. Wolverine and Sabretooth are NOT brothers, they may have been friends once, and may have even called each other brothers but blood kin they are not. That’s just one of the few minor details that irked me about the origin tale of how Wolverine came to be Wolverine.

But if you look at it not as a comic book movie but just a movie with no history then you have a fine damned movie, its action packed and just plain good, I really enjoyed just sitting there and watching the story unfold. Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine like nobody else could, even if he’s a little tall. Live Schreiber played Sabretooth pretty well; I don’t think he portrayed the viciousness of Sabretooth the way it needed to be and he’s a little short for Sabretooth but he did well. And from the little that we saw of Ryan Reynolds he was born to play Deadpool. The rest of the characters I don’t know enough about but they were pretty cool.

I think the movie will be worth the price of the ticket, but if you’re a comic book purist then you may not like what they’ve changed (I could barely get past the fact that Wolverine and Sabretooth were brothers), If you don’t care one way or another and just want to watch Mutants on the big screen then I think you should check it out, the rest of you just put it on your Netflix Save List.
